1. Information We Collect
We minimize data collection to the absolute essentials required to generate your Home Inventory Report:
- Inventory Data: Item names, descriptions, values, and other metadata you enter manually.
- Images: Photos you upload via our "Snap-to-Sync" feature.
- Payment Information: Processed securely via Polar.sh. We do not store your credit card details.
- Email Address: Used solely to deliver your generated PDF report.
2. How We Store Your Data
Session-Based Storage: Your inventory data is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and synchronized with our server only during your active session.
Temporary Image Storage: Photos uploaded for your report are stored in a private, secure S3 bucket.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
24-Hour Auto-Deletion Policy
To ensure your privacy, all images uploaded to our servers are automatically flagged for deletion 24 hours after your report is generated. We do not keep permanent copies of your personal property photos.
4. Usage of Data
We use your data exclusively to:
- Generate your immutable, SHA-256 hashed PDF report.
- Facilitate the photo upload process from your mobile device.
- Process your payment for the service.
We never sell your data to third parties, advertisers, or insurance companies.
